Responsibilities

The customer service representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to Synchrony Lab customers. Duties will include direct contact with Synchrony Lab customers and vendors, including the lab courier service. Such contact is often of a sensitive nature and requires the use of sound judgement, discretion and courtesy at all time.

 

Hours - Tuesday-Saturday 7a-3:30p

 


Duties 

 

1. Provide world class customer service in a timely and professional manner.
2. Communicate results as needed to Laboratory clients: clearly, accurately, and effectively.
3. Serve as a resource to Synchrony Lab customers for test requirements, specimen submission, and other laboratory policies and procedures.
4. Communicate directly with lab courier service concerning the transportation of specimens and supplies.
5. Answer and direct all phone calls and fax transmissions, in regards to patient inquiries, courier logistics, and service issues.
6. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives according to Synchrony Lab policies and procedures. Follow up to ensure resolution.
7. Keep work surfaces clean and orderly.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by Laboratory management for successful operations.
9. Follow ergonomic and safe working practices.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience

  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or related work environment preferred
